Rapid Charging for Deep Cycle Batteries

The IQ-Turbo delivers a powerful yet controlled voltage to help charge batteries in minimal time. It’s an ideal solution for batteries that are used frequently but have limited time to recharge (e.g. solar panel system batteries).

Charging Profile

The IQ-TURBO takes the following steps to charge your battery:

TURBO­
In Turbo mode, the battery is charged at an optimal voltage level. This reduces the time it takes to charge the battery.
ABSORPTION­
During the Absorption stage, the battery received a constant charge for a set period of time to ensure that is completely charged.
FLOAT­
Once the battery is fully charged, it enters the Float mode, where it is able to maintain a full charge. What's more, the Float mode helps reduce the risk of "gassing."
MAINTENANCE­
If the battery has been on a Float charge for seven days, the IQ automatically provides an equalization charge to dissolve any sulfate on the battery plates and to avoid stratification.

Installation

Simply plug the IQ Smart Charge Controller into the Dual Voltage Jack* of your IOTA DLS Battery Charger.

The IQ Smart Charger will activate automatically, allowing your DLS to charge your battery, trouble-free!

*Location of the Dual Voltage Jack may vary depending on the IOTA DLS model

Note: External IOTA IQ Smart Charge Controllers are not compatible with DLS chargers with internal IQ charge control.
